Notice on Giving Supervision and Punishment for Illegal Use of Electricity in International Student Dormitory and PG Dormitory

Dear International Students:

The behavior of the illegal electricity use in International Student Dormitory and PG Dormitory not only violates the Article 14, Implementation Measures for punishment on international students violating disciplines of CTGU (Revised) No.46(2011), but also caused seriously impact on the normal operation of public network.

Previously, the International Student Dormitory Office has sealed each E-xin box in order to forbid the students from opening it privately. However，there are still some international students who violate the regulations to destroy the or tear seals in order to use the electricity from the E-xin box. In order to prevent this kind of phenomena from happening again, the International Student Dormitory Office will seal E-xin box again. Please protect the seal of E-xin box, and supervise the roommate not to break the seal. Once the seal is found to be damaged, this behavior will be defined as illegal electricity use. Both of the international students in this dormitory will be punished according to Implementation Measures for punishment on international students violating disciplines of CTGU (Revised) No.46(2011) ,Article 14 :“ If the monetary value of the public property is over 500 RMB, the students shall be given the punishment of at lease Demerit Record”. For student’s own rights and interests, please supervise each other, and avoid any behaviors of illegal use of electricity.
